JoJo Siwa SHADES ex Avery Cyrus as she claims to have been used “for views” and “clout” during breakup

JoJo Siwa apparently accused her ex-girlfriend Avery Cyrus of trying to cash in on her fame during their relationship after their short-lived romance ended.

When asked by her mother Jessalynn why she was upset, the superstar, who rose to fame as a child on Lifetime’s Dance Moms, gave an emotional response while apparently still reeling from her recent heartbreak.

“Because I got used to views and clout!” she answered while pacing. “I was tricked into telling myself I was in love and I was fucking played.”

The jab appeared to be a clear blow to Cyrus, who is a social media influencer with more than 8.4 million TikTok followers.

Footage of the dancer feeling taken advantage of was uploaded to her mother’s Instagram story on Monday.

Before she started dating Siwa three months ago, her content typically garnered just over a million views per video, while cameos from her famous friend saw views spike between 3.3 and 14.7 million.

Over the weekend, Cyrus, 22, confirmed their split in a video that included a clip of Siwa handing her a “sorry for breaking up with your presence.”

When a fan asked for an explanation regarding the split, Cyrus explained that she and Siwa decided to just be friends and focus on themselves.

“We’ve decided we’re better off as friends! We’re both so young and still trying to figure out our stuff,” the content creator wrote.

Siwa and Cyrus originally sparked romance rumors in a TikTok in August that showed them lip-synching to an old voiceover by KUWTK star Kourtney Kardashian and her baby daddy Scott Disick.

They became official on social media in September when a clip showed them making out over a Chuck E. Cheese.

The couple spoke a little about their relationship in a vlog in October. Cyrus said: “We’re friends now. I’m so happy you said yes. I knew you wouldn’t say no, I was just nervous.”

“I’d be crazy if I said no, you’re the best friend in the world,” Siwa replied.

“But I don’t know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say gay because it kind of covers that, or queer because I think the keyword is cool,” Siwa told People in January 2021.

Last year, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she admitted it felt “wild” to be considered a gay icon among some of her “favorite people” and stars like Lady Gaga and Freddie Mercury.

“I’m so happy with the outcome of my coming out. The world took it so positively,” she gushed.
