“No more silent suffering”: Romeo Miller and father Master P argue publicly about family finances

Romeo Miller and his father, Master P, publicly feuded over family finances on Instagram on Sunday.

The conflict began when Master P, 52, took to the social media site to pay tribute to late star Stephen “tWitch” Boss and added a comment about mental illness.

“These are crazy times we live in, you can smile one day and be gone the next!” said the musician, whose real name is Percy Robert Miller Sr. “He was supposed to be a guest DJ at a concert we had on January 13th. Life is too short appreciate your loved ones……………. #Mental illness is real.’

The post came more than seven months after the tragic death of his daughter Tytyana, 29, in May from accidental fentanyl poisoning.

Romeo, 33, subsequently took to Instagram Stories to criticize his father for being perceived as a lack of response in response to Tytyana’s death.

“Today was a boiling point,” Romeo said in a post that was later deleted. “I saw a man avoid his own children struggling with suicide and depression but posted another man who died today who he doesn’t even know. Yall idols are lost. Better stop following the blind. Watch out when it’s revealed.’

Master P then responded to Romeo’s post by saying that Romeo’s “social media rant” was “never about” Tytyana’s death, it was “about some money.”

“I’m at peace now, I know the truth,” he said. “Houses, cars and jewelry are temporary, you can’t take any of them with you when you die. Life is too short. People need to stop being ungrateful and assigning blame when they are not where they want to be in life.

“I’m tired of people saying they only love me if I give them something. I’m not an ATM or a robot, I have feelings too. Thank you for all your prayers, we need them. I move on, get back to work and rush for those who value me. @romeomiller.’

Romeo then posted a statement on Instagram, which he later removed, claiming his father kept money he made from him throughout his career and support of the Rap Snacks brand.

“I’m only bringing this up because my dad is trying to shed light and break me instead of taking responsibility for his mistakes/greed and that’s just the tip of the iceberg,” he said. “My booth isn’t about money, it’s about the perception of money. My dad knows I’ve made the most money over the last 10 years and as always, he played my part quietly so he could shine.

“In time, truth will prevail and I believe that if my father truly relies solely on God and not image and money, he will be the richest man in the world if that is what his heart desires.”

He ended the lengthy post by writing, “No more suffering in silence. The Rise of the Phoenix.’
