Pro Bowl: Tua Tagovailoa wins popularity contest

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa led the fan vote en route to the 2023 Pro Bowl with 306,861 votes.

NFL fans seem to want to congratulate Tagovailoa on a good season. This is at the heart of the success of the Florida formation, which has an 8-6 record. Personally, the Hawaii native threw 24 touchdown passes while flying 3,228 yards through the air. He also leads quarterbacks in average yards per pass at 8.6.

His teammate and receiver Tyreek Hill finished second with 293,679 votes. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (271,541), Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (264,653) and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (248,279) follow in order.

The two teams participating in the All-Star Game will be announced on Wednesday. Team selection is determined by votes from fans, players and coaches.

The Pro Bowl game takes place on February 5th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. For the first time in NFL history, teams from the US and national federations will meet in a flag football game.
