It is not new that some states have greater economic power than others. But one especially on the west coast of the US, has a chance to overtake the world’s major powers, according to a report by Bloomberg News. According to the company, California is on the verge of collecting more than Germany, the world’s fourthlargest economy Gross domestic product (GDP)🇧🇷 The comparison was made based on the balance sheets of companies with capital over $1 billion in both locations. US companies’ sales have grown by 147% in the last three years, while German companies have grown by 41%. Additionally, California companies gained 117% in market value compared to 34% on the German side. As a result, California’s GDP is likely to be $72 billion higher than Germany’s, according to Bloomberg estimates. The state is centered on Silicon Valley, home to the world’s largest technology companies.
