Jarbas Homem de Mello announced that he is very concerned about the birth of his first child, the result of his marriage to actress and dancer Claudia Raia. In an interview with moderator Danilo Gentili, the actor and singer commented on the feeling of fatherhood even before little Luca was born.
“I’m very happy. It scares me a lot, I’m starting to lose sleep. My God, how am I supposed to support this child?! I’m 53 years old. In terms like education, life coaching, we’re on the basis of the experience that we have, already prepared better. But the livelihood thing, really… you start thinking about the person’s college,” the artist reflected.
Commenting on the “right time” to have a child, the actor said, “When I was very young I wanted to be a father. Then in life we begin to fight and kill a lion every day. It becomes very unstable. You have to find a nice partner, have a solid marriage, life has to settle down first”. His wife is already the mother of Enzo Celulari, 25, and Sophia Raia, 29, both from her previous marriage to actor Edson Celulari.
In November, during a conversation with presenter Ronnie Von, Jarbas, an actor and dancer, said she had many ups and downs before the pregnancy of his son with the actress: “We were going to do an insemination late last year so she was well prepared, with the endometrium fine but the embryos didn’t form. So we couldn’t make the transfer,” he revealed at the time.
