The 2023 vintage has apparently been recruited for years. And now it’s time for them to make things official. Wednesday is the first day of the early signing period for the class as those interested can make things official by signing a National Letter of Intent (NLI) with the schools of their choice.
Texas A&M looks to follow a record-breaking 2022 class with a very strong 2023 class. The Aggies enter Day No. 16 in the team rankings but have a chance to move further up as there are some announcements on Wednesday with prospects still considering A&M.

The following list of players are Texas A&M’s current commitments. The times with their names are either their ceremonies or when they told us they play to send their NLIs to A&M. Those interested can send them in at 7:00am their time, so the Aggies could receive them at 6:00am CET from the Eastern time zone. Players with afternoon ceremonies will likely send them in earlier, but A&M could potentially wait until those ceremonial times to announce. One signing who will not sign on Wednesday is the five-star defender David Hicks. He will do so at a ceremony on Friday. Another defensive tackle Samu Taumanupepe will wait until a ceremony on his birthday on January 23 to announce it.
There are also three announcements that A&M fans will be watching closely. The first is a recent national top 100 pledge from Alabama, which officially visited Aggieland this past weekend. He will decide whether to stay with Crimson Tide or sign with A&M or Auburn. The second is a local linebacker who was offered most recently and that’s where things are looking good for the Aggies. The third is a four-star runabout that was retired from Arkansas on Monday. He was also at Texas A&M for an unofficial visit last weekend. For him, the Aggies are the leaders of the crystal ball.
We’ll be updating things on this story as well as the associated thread throughout the day as signings and announcements take place. Update this page throughout the day for updates on the Aggies’ early signing efforts as we will update as NLIs join and as non-binding prospects make their announcements. Stay tuned in throughout the day for updates on 247Sports Signing Day as well.
