A hilarious letter from a young boy who threatened to kill Santa after he didn’t get the expensive gift he wanted has resurfaced and gone viral on social media.
TikTok user Kodi Mink broke through reading the letters exchanged between a boy named Jeremy and old Saint Nick. The child was upset that he only got one of the two gifts on his Christmas list, even though he had milk and biscuits on display.
“Dear Santa, I am writing this the day after Christmas and I am very sad that I have only received one of the two gifts that I have asked for,” reads the first letter. ‘Sense [since] You ate my cookies, I will [assume] That my missing gift was a miss [mistake].’
Jeremy warned the jolly old elf that he had a week to correct his mistake, but Santa’s follow-up letter showed that he would not comply with the child’s demand.
“Dear Jeremy, I’m sorry you’re disappointed with your gifts. You asked for two very expensive gifts and there’s only so much Santa can do,” he wrote back.
“You have to learn to be thankful for what you have and not get upset about what you don’t have. If you keep complaining, I have no choice but to put you on the naughty list next year.’
Things quickly escalated when the child lashed out at Santa, calling him “fat” and warning him to back off and cough up the gift or face poisoned cookies.

In the letters, Jeremy warns Santa that he will have to contend with poison cookies next Christmas, noting that cheerful St. Nick is “slow and easy to kill”.
Mink recounted the letter in a video that has been viewed more than 18 million times, with the TikToker barely breathing as he laughed at Jeremey and Santa’s 2017 exchange.
After Santa’s first warning, Jeremy wrote: “Dear Fatty, your threats don’t scare me. I played your game and you didn’t deliver.
‘It’s not OK. I give you a week and then you pay
“PS I don’t know why it’s expensive when you have elf slaves to make things for you.
The comments seemed to strike a chord with Santa, who retaliated by taking away Jeremy’s WiiU games console.
“Dear Jeremy, you are a very naughty little boy,” Santa wrote. “Because you can’t be happy with what you have, I spoke to your parents and told them to take your Wii U away from you.”
“Now you have nothing. Once you learn to be grateful, maybe you can get it back. I’m disappointed in you Jeremy. You have to be extra good this year if you want to make it back onto the beautiful list.’

That was the last straw for Jeremy, who continued to warn him about what was in store for him next Christmas.
“Santa, I don’t like that stunt you did with my parents. You’re on my cheeky list now,’ the boy warned.
“Be afraid, you seem slow and easy to kill. Enjoy your cookies next year because they will be poison. I hope you die Jeremy.’
After reading the last line, Mink burst out laughing as he said, “Jeremy didn’t fucking play.”
The hilarious letter first made the rounds on social media in 2017 and occasionally reappears throughout the holiday season, with many encountering the hilarious exchange this year for the first time.
