DECRYPTION – In one of the videos, Chinese patients who are safely ventilated are placed on a mattress on the floor.
Images that send shivers down your spine. In videos published on Twitter in the last few days, some of which have been viewed more than ten million times, a certain Jennifer Zeng – presumably a Chinese human rights activist who has now fled to the USA – denounces “infections and early deaths” in Covid-19 on. 19 in China, a country of 1.4 billion people.
These videos were also shared by the American epidemiologist Eric Feigl-Ding, who speaks of “completely overwhelmed hospitals in China since the end of the health restrictions” in connection with the zero-Covid policy.
One of them shows an overcrowded infirmary. Patients, most of whom appear to be on ventilation, lie side by side. Some lie on mattresses on the floor.
But what about those videos with alarming descriptions that get massive shares? Le Figaro interviewed two specialists on the subject.

On Twitter, Eric Feigl-Ding even goes so far as to speak of the “thermonuclear evil”.
