Resurfaced comments have revealed that Lily Allen has been offered to play her real brother’s sister in Game Of Thrones… after the singer launched a wild tirade in defense of ‘nepotism babies’.
Lily’s brother Alfie Allen, 36, joined the HBO fantasy series as the heir to Iron Islands Theon Greyjoy – and the Smile singer, 37, was nominated for the role of Yara Greyjoy.
But she turned it down because of an “awkward” incest scene that would have seen the real siblings share an intimate moment on screen.
Siblings: Resurfaced comments have revealed that Lily Allen was offered to play her real brother’s sister on Game Of Thrones… after the singer launched a wild tirade in defense of ‘nepotism babies’
Lily’s revelation came nine years ago in a Reddit thread asking fans to ask her something.
One user said: “How did you feel when you told Alfie to get a job and he got a job straight away on the coolest show on TV? .
Lily replies, “Well that was about a 5 year difference between the two!
“But I was asked to do a Game of Thrones act, they asked me if I would be interested in playing Theon’s sister and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to get on a horse and he would have touched me and crap.

“When they told me what it was all about, I said no thanks. However, I would be open to a musical cameo like Sigur Ros.”
The scene she is referring to is Theon’s performance in front of the audience when he joins his sister Yara on the back of her horse.
But he doesn’t recognize her after not seeing each other for many years – and starts caressing her privates to seduce her.
Gemma Whelan took on the role instead – and the feature for Alfie saw him land gigs and other TV shows like SAS: Rogue Heroes and movies like Jojo Rabbit.

Alfie was also nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2019 for his role as Theon.
Her actor father Keith also revealed he could have been cast as Balon Greyjoy – making him Alfie’s father in real life and on screen.
But he said he purposely did a “garbage audition” because he thought it would be “a little bit cheesy, a little bit obvious”.
Fighting back: It comes after Lily, the daughter of actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen (all pictured in September 2010), expressed her opinion on ‘nepotism babies’
The resurfaced comments come after Lily launched a tirade against criticism of nepotism babies, saying many are “starving for stability and love” because of their “narcissistic” parents.
The 37-year-old singer – who is the daughter of actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen – voiced her opinion on “nepotism babies,” which refer to children born into wealthy or famous families.
Lily claimed the nepotism babies people should be “concerned about” are the ones who work for “law firms, banks and in politics.”
Opinions: Lily claimed in a series of tweets that the nepotism babies people should be “concerned about” are the ones who work for “law firms, banks and politicians.”
Taking to Twitter to hit back at criticism of nepotism babies in the takeaway industry, she claimed it’s not a “parent-friendly” business and said these kids may be “starving” of “love.”
In her online rant, she said: “The Nepo babies you should be worried about are those who work for law firms, those who work for banks and those who work in politics.
“When we’re talking about real-world consequences and robbing people of opportunity. BUT that’s none of my business.’
“And before you attack me for being a Nepo baby myself, I will be the first to tell you that I earn literally nothing,” she added.

When a Twitter user asked her, “Why do your parents have blue links on Wikipedia,” she replied, “Because I’m a Nepo baby and both my parents are super talented.”
Lily went on to claim that the entertainment industry isn’t “parent-friendly,” saying it can be difficult “to see your privilege” when you’re “processing childhood trauma.”
She continued, “In childhood we crave stability and love, nurturing, we don’t yet care about money or proximity to power.
“Many of the Nepo babies lack these basic things during childhood as their parents are likely to be narcissistic.
“And the entertainment business isn’t parent-friendly, e.g. B. Touring/months of filming.
‘We crave stability and love’: She claimed the takeaway industry is not a ‘parent-friendly’ business and said nepotism babies can become ‘starved’ of ‘basic things’
“It can be difficult to recognize your privilege when you’re still processing childhood trauma, and many of these kids haven’t figured that out yet.”
It’s not the first time Lily has voiced her opinions on nepotism babies, as she ranted about her dad Keith back in 2015 when she opened up about the issue.
According to the Daily Mirror, she was involved in an exchange on Twitter when she posted lyrics to the Faces song, Ooh La La, which read: “I wish I knew what I know now, when I was younger”.
In the 2015 posts, one user replied, “What, you’re really talentless and you’re only ‘famous’ on the back of daddy…fuck off!”
Lily reportedly hit back with, “My dad left me when I was 4, I’m sick of it. My dad was with Latitude when I was headlining and didn’t even come to see me.
Split: In previous interviews, Lily (pictured with her father Keith in 2007) also revealed that the end of her parents’ marriage in 1989 left her insecure and desperate for attention
“I’ve probably spent more of my life walking my dogs than I have with my dad. And I’m 30, too old to run to anyone.”
The Smile hitmaker has previously said that as a child she would spend weekends in the hotel room above the Groucho club, with a Toblerone to keep her going.
She also revealed in previous interviews that the end of her parents’ marriage in 1989 left her insecure and desperate for attention.
Her father, Keith, has six children with four wives, and Lily was raised in part by her former stepfather, comedian Harry Enfield.
Father: Last year, Lily also detailed her strained relationship with her father, Keith (pictured in 2007), admitting they “haven’t spoken to each other in a while”.
Lily said: “One of my earliest memories is when mum and dad broke up. We were in our council flat in Bloomsbury and Dad said, ‘Mum and I are splitting up now.’
“I was about four and I was like, ‘Does that mean we have to find a new father?’ It was very difficult for mom, she was producing her first film and my younger brother Alfie was a difficult kid.
“I was only living in my own brain. I had this blanket and I would suck my thumb and watch the world go by.
Last year, Lily also detailed her strained relationship with her father, Keith, admitting they “haven’t spoken to each other in a while.”
She told The Telegraph: “I haven’t really spoken to him in a while to be honest.
“The last time I texted him was on Father’s Day and he texted back and said ‘thank you.’ We haven’t connected for a while.”
In 2018, Lily said Keith was furious when she claimed he had a “cocaine-induced heart attack” at Glastonbury when he was 13 – when in reality it was acute food poisoning.
Lily confessed, “I got some pretty nasty text from him this weekend. There was a big piece [in the press] and he texted me: “Um, cocaine-induced heart attack in Glastonbury. Wow’.
“And I said, ‘Sorry, that’s what I thought … I’m really sorry if I misunderstood that, but that’s how I remembered it, and you never explained it to me any other way, so I wrote that’ , and he said, ‘Well, that’s not true.’

On her bond with her father, she added: “I was close to him and really wanted to develop a relationship with him in my teenage years, so I would go to Fulham every Saturday and watch him and his friends play and things were really good at a certain point.’
