During the drive, he tells her: “I first came here in 1995, my first year of making real money in Formula 1.
“It’s not about trying to maximize your earning potential, because back then a 10-year career was considered a long time in Formula 1.
“As an athlete you’re done after a decade… The weather is something that makes me feel good, I think I suffer from SAD. I need lights in the house, if you and I were on a date, all the lights are on.’

The show begins with Alison arriving in a helicopter at a billionaire’s exclusive mansion in St Tropez.
She says of her mission: “Does money ultimately fulfill you inside? Does it make you happier to have cars, to have yachts, to have all these houses?’
The mansion was designed around a Jeff Koons sculpture worth a whopping €30 million and comes complete with a private chef and butler.
The art collection inside is worth more than the stunning villa itself.

No trip to the Riviera would be complete without experiencing the world of superyachts and Alison makes her way to Nice, excited to try some of the best boats on offer.
After trying some caviar on deck, Alison does her best to find out from the staff who the yacht’s current celebrity owner is.
Later, Alison is speechless when she realizes that a few used handbags can cost more than a Birmingham flat after visiting a shop that sells rare vintage designer handbags that represent a huge investment potential.
Eventually, she checks into the famous Hotel Martinez in Cannes to find out if the hotel manager’s determination to keep his guests happy extends to a bath with Terry’s chocolate oranges.
She then walks the red carpet at the gala finale of the world-famous Cannes Film Festival.
