MAD Entertainment was born in Naples in 2010, directed by Luciano Stella and Maria Carolina Terzi. The factory lives and grows in the heart of the city, in the historic homes where Vittorio De Sica filmed The Gold of Naples and The Italian Wedding. Here arose the challenge of bringing together artists and audiovisual professionals in one place. At Mad Studios, screenwriters, directors, designers, animators, 3D and special effects technicians, editors, musicians and computer scientists conceive and realize every production phase in-house, from idea to development, from writing to the visual approach, from from directing to editing to composing the soundtracks to post-production. Among the films produced by Mario Martone’s Mad Nostalgia, Antonio Capuano’s Achille Tarallo, we mention Gatta Cenerentola, with which MAD won two David di Donatello awards for best producer and best special effects.
