The affable presenter co-hosted the ITV show ahead of Christmas Day, but her signature humor was tinged with emotion as she described a celebratory visit to the snowy Finnish region with four-year-old Reggie.
Sharing a brief segment with viewers, Josie, 37, admitted the journey to Santa’s spiritual home had been a magical experience for her son, who is rarely seen on her social media platforms.

The presenter, who was on the verge of tears when the clip was presented, had been given the unique opportunity to travel to Lapland with Reggie and an ITV camera crew in search of Santa Claus.
And those who tuned in had a rare chance to see Reggie as his mum took him on a reindeer sleigh ride, with the boy visibly excited after spotting a secluded cabin in the woods – the “home of Santa Claus and his family.” .
Reggie also made Josie laugh when asked what he wanted for Christmas, with the child admitting he had his heart set on a “silly sausage” and “a pig”.

Josie recently admitted that she is hosting her close friend and colleague Alison Hammond on Christmas Day, after the Birmingham-based presenter did the same last year.
The TV personality did not confirm if son Reggie or Alison’s son Aiden, 17, would be with them for the festive celebration at their Bristol home.

In March, the presenter revealed how her close friend Alison helped her settle into her This Morning role.
The bubbly Big Brother winner has gone from being an outside broadcaster to becoming one of the show’s most popular rotary presenters, and she said Alison helped give her a much-needed confidence boost.
“She gives very good advice,” she told New Magazine of her friendship with Alison, herself a former Big Brother contestant.
“Even before I had hosted the main show on This Morning, if she ever went on the main show she said to put me on Open Talkback – where you hear the whole gallery talking – to practice.
“I said, ‘I don’t want that,’ and she said, ‘You’ll do it, if you don’t try you’ll never get anywhere.’
