Jo Soares died four months ago at Sírio Libanês Hospital in São Paulo, and the cause was not yet known. But according to Notícias da TV, the death of the 84yearold presenter was motivated by obesity complications that affected part of his internal system.
The portal had access to the moderator’s death certificate, issued on August 5 this year and located at the 34th Civil Registry Office of São Paulo.
In the document, the comedian appears to have died during the night from kidney and heart failure, aortic stenosis and atrial fibrillation. The former Global also had a narrowing of the opening of the aortic valve, which controls the outflow of blood from the left ventricle of the heart.

“His death was natural and not tragic, thankfully a fine bloke in life. We wanted his death to be a little quieter and more reserved. He’s shown so much in life, he was a good size. He wanted a closed coffin and cremation , all quickly and had my full support,” he said.
