Emre Can converted a penalty for Dortmund after 52 minutes but any nerves from a tense finish were allayed when Jamal Musiala called it a day with seven minutes remaining.
The title is Julian Nagelsmann’s first title as Bayern coach but continues an era of dominance unprecedented in Germany. Nobody had won more than three Bundesliga titles in a row before Bayern’s run.

The more you win, the greedier you get every year.”
Bayern secured the title with five games remaining after beating Dortmund for the second time in the Bundesliga this season, with the first, a 3-2 win, coming on December 4.
Bayern have lost four times in the league this season, against Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Augsburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach and VfL Bochum, but they have been well ahead of Dortmund at the top of the league all season.
The 2021/22 championship is Bayern’s 32nd title overall, with FC Nürnberg taking second place with nine times. Dortmund was champion eight times.
