Cuba expresses condolences to Chile for forest fire deaths

Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, head of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, this Friday expressed his condolences to the people and government of Chile at the loss of life and damage caused by the forest fire in Viña del Mar, Valparaíso.

Through his Twitter account, the Cuban Foreign Minister expressed his condolences to the families and close friends of the victims of the incident.

“We offer our deepest condolences to the people and government #Chili for the loss of life and damage caused by the forest fire in #Vina del Mar, Region of Valparaíso. They are extensive for relatives and close friends of the victims.”

A fire has raged in the upper area of ​​Viña del Mar, 120 kilometers from Santiago de Chile, killing at least 2 people and affecting 500 houses.

Due to the extent of the fires, Chilean President Gabriel Boric has declared a state of emergency.
