The Mass will be attended by more than 200 priests, bishops and cardinals, as well as ambassadors and representatives of other Christian denominations. Around the Bastille, worshipers left without a ticket can watch Mass outside in St. Peter’s Square on big screens.

The Missa do Galo, so called according to some versions because a rooster crowed at midnight on the occasion of the birth of Christ others believe that some people took roosters to celebrate, is a traditional mass of the Catholic Church.
