FINALS: Green Bay Packers 26, Miami Dolphins 20

Runs almost all the way

After the Dolphins took a 3-0 lead on the opening drive, Keisean Nixon put the Packers in great field position, returning the ensuing kick 94 yards to place Green Bay inside Miami’s 10-yard line. The Packers couldn’t fully capitalize on the advantage and opted for a field goal.

Waddle your way for six!

Jaylen Waddle took Tagovailoa’s pass at range and turned a 10-yard reception into an 84-yard touchdown to give Miami a 10-3 lead.

Got a Marcedes for Christmas

Green Bay finally reached the end zone when Rodgers found Marcedes Lewis wide open to tie the game 10-10.

Find Tyrek

Tagovailoa’s favorite present this season was Tyreek Hill and he reconnected with him at Christmas. The star receiver pulled in a 52-yard grab to put the Dolphins at the Packers 1-yard line. Jeff Wilson ran in for a touchdown in the following game to give Miami a 17-10 lead.

Not on Miami’s clock

The Packers tried to keep their drive alive by running a fake punt deep in their own territory in fourth place. The dolphins sniffed out the fake faster than Santa sniffs out cookies on Christmas Eve.

Big fourth down conversion

Rodgers used the play action to his advantage, finding Christian Watson open to a first down to set the Packers up for a field goal to put it 20-13 before halftime.

Slide left

Rodgers moved to his left and found Lewis again, but this time for a 30+ yard finish to set the Packers up at the Dolphins 7 yard line.

Great AJ

AJ Dillon worked his way into the end zone just two games after Rodger’s deep pass to level the game early in the third.

Watson done for today

Rodgers and the Packers will be without their top receiver for the remainder of Christmas Day in recent weeks as Watson suffered a hip injury and was ruled out. He had six receptions for 49 yards the day before he left.

Dolphins Defense has a choice… but was there a PI?

Wanting it all in third and 15th, Rodgers launched a pass into the end zone to Allen Lazard. Kader Kohou made the play to get the interception for the Dolphins, but it appeared he got away with one touch.

“Ball Don’t Lie”, at least for Packers fans

In the game right after Rodgers’ interception, the Packers got the ball back when Tagovailoa threw the ball straight at Jaire Alexander to give Green Bay great field position.

A present for De’Vondre Campbell

Tagovailoa threw another interception straight at Packers LB as the Dolphins drove to either tie or take the lead.

Tua sales

The Dolphins quarterback threw his third interception in his last three dries when his final pass of the game went straight to Rasul Douglas, sealing the Packers’ 26-20 win.
