Finn Jones explains why Iron Fist failed

Iron Fist interpreter on Netflix, Finn Jones explained why the series underperformed so much.

Only two seasons were produced.

“The first season was full of creative challenges and didn’t live up to expectations. It all boiled down to scheduling conflicts. We decided to rush things because we had The Defenders right next and other actors couldn’t change their schedules at that point. So we had to produce thirteen episodes in that allotted time and unfortunately we just didn’t have the time to do what was expected and what was requested. Our intention was to present a truly amazing series of kung fu and martial arts to the public. We failed due to lack of time.”

explained Geekscape Podcast.

“In season two we worked hard to correct course and I think we managed to do that. We did an amazing job getting the story back into the code, but unfortunately it was over just a month later because Disney wanted to create their own series. They wanted to do their own thing on their own platform, which is understandable.”
