Johnny Depp’s trial of Amber Heard continues to be a hot topic. With the actor’s shocking revelations against his ex-wife, it seemed like he already had the jury on his side, but Heard and her attorneys also have material against Depp, and they used it cunningly. One of the videos shown at the trial shows the actor banging on the door of a closet and even breaking something and then throwing the phone when he discovers it has been recorded, he sounds very angry:

A picture that would purportedly show Depp was in a greatly altered state of mind during a fight in 2015 has a message he left on a lampshade for Heard, with a mixture of blood and paint as his finger was injured , and it said “Good luck and be careful at the top” (Good luck and take care). Depp admitted he wrote it, saying, “I thought it was good advice.”
An audio was also revealed in which the actor admits he was very jealous when his ex-wife was working on a film. These were the words Depp would have said:
“I get irrational when you do movies, I get jealous and f*cking crazy, weird… we fight a lot.”
This would confirm the words the actress said at Depp’s trial against The Sun in 2020 (via Reuters):
[Depp] He insisted that every male actor tried to sleep with me and that he was having an affair with them, that he had spoken to people and knew all about it. He would try to catch me picking up my phone or telling me that someone had told him I was having an affair and that he was acting like he had information to prove it, when I really didn’t did. Film after film, he accused me of having relationships with each of my co-stars: Eddie Redmayne, James Franco, Jim Sturgess, Kevin Costner, Liam Hemsworth, BillyBob Thornton, Channing Tatum; even female co-stars like Kelly Garner.
Johnny Depp’s $50 million lawsuit against Amber Heard was launched in 2019, a few months after she published an article in The Washington Post about her experiences as a victim of domestic violence. The actor also blamed Heard for Disney’s decision to do a Pirates of the Caribbean reboot without him playing the role of Jack Sparrow.
The first version of the story published in 2016 was the one she gave, in which she became the victim of her drug addict and drunk husband’s outbursts of insanity and jealousy. By sharing images of bruises on his face, he sided public opinion in those years, but when Depp revealed audios in 2019 in which we heard the woman admit to assaulting him and also humiliate him, by telling him he was “a baby” garnered massive support.
In 2020, the actor lost a lawsuit against British newspaper The Sun, whom he was suing for calling him a “wife beater,” and that led to his role as Grindelwald in the film Fantastic Animals: Dumbledore’s Secrets – 50 % lost. If he loses again, who knows what future awaits him within the industry, and worst of all, Heard has filed a $100 million countersuit.
In the event that things are now reversed and Amber Heard loses her mind, she will surely be left out of the DC Comics cinematic universe to which she belongs and could be replaced by another actress in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, a Tape already filmed but delayed its release until 2023.
