Juliano Cazarré rejects criticism for participating in “Best of the Year”

Actor Juliano Cazarré has taken a stand after being criticized for his participation in the ‘Best of the Year Award’ presented yesterday (25) during the program ‘Domingão com Huck’.

In a nineminute video posted to his Instagram, the Global says he received “a flood of hate” on his profile without understanding the motivation behind it. “A lot of people say I’m serious and a lot of people scold me man for politics,” the actor said at the beginning of the taping.

“I was really serious. I don’t live in a very easy situation. Our daughter is in the hospital, she’s been in intensive care for six months,” he said. Juliano recently announced that his youngest daughter, Maria Guilhermina, aged six months, would undergo a new procedure.

He also expressed anger at the delay in taping the show, which the actor said was scheduled to begin at 3pm on a Friday but was delayed by two hours.

With that, he said he was worried about “handing over the nanny” and was “desperate.” “I had to get home before 8pm so the nanny could come home for the weekend,” he said.

Although his manner is “serious”, Juliano says in the recording that he was happy to meet work colleagues from the soap opera “Pantanal”. He then addressed a political issue that was mentioned in the criticism he received.

“There are many people who have such a stupid political obsession and such a great obsession that they can’t see anything without ever thinking about petism and Bolsonarianism.”

Juliano continued: “Me and Osmar Prado couldn’t think more differently. But in the Pantanal, the guy who sat at the table with Osmar Prado for several hours spoke civilly, gave my point of view and he his, […] It was me”.

The mention of Juliano to his colleague is thanks to Osmar’s speech when accepting the award for Best Supporting Actor of 2022. In his acceptance speech, the veteran who played Velho do Rio in “Pantanal” criticized President Bolsonaro’s management.

“You are stupid. You divide the whole world into left and right. There’s more to life than just this political fight, man. Life is your life, the life you create is a glorious narrative for your life,” said the interpreter of Alcides in “Pantanal” in a tone of revolt.
