A California eight-year-old has gone viral for “sensing the vibes” during his elementary school’s winter concert.
Jaden Williams, 8, and his incredible dance moves have been viewed more than 20 million times while performing alongside classmates.
In an interview with a local outlet, Jaden sounded quiet as he spoke about the video, a stark change from his showman persona during the concert. There was a good reason for that, though.
“I just started dancing,” Jaden said. “I felt the mood.”

The Bay Area elementary school student’s video has been liked by more than 692,000 people since it was posted to Instagram a week ago.
In the video, Jaden can be seen staging his classmates while sticking his tongue out and seemingly performing a series of moves derived from TikTok dances.
Jaden’s viral moment came just as school was about to go into winter break and was posted by a classmate’s mother, who was stunned by his incredible achievement.
The woman who posted the video tagged the San Francisco 49ers, the football team whose logo is on Jaden’s clothing, and tagged the video with the hashtag “dance machine.”
“His classmate’s mom actually posted it on her Instagram and it kind of came off and she tagged my wife with it,” said Kirk Williams, Jaden’s father.
“It started going viral from there,” Kirk said.

Jaden told ABC 7 he was really looking forward to the concert and can’t wait to show his friends, family and loved ones what he’s come up with.
“I was so excited to do this,” Jaden said of the concert. “I would say to Miss Harrington, my music teacher, ‘When does the concert start?’ I was so happy.’
His joy spread to the millions who watched the video online.
“Jaden is a star,” actor Jermaine Crawford commented on the original video.
“I am Jaden. He said let’s add some sparkle to this,” said one commenter.
“When he grows up he’ll be the uncle lighting the grill,” replied another.

Jaden’s parents say he always had a radiant presence, and they’re just glad the world is now seeing what they always knew.
“He’s been like this since he could walk, and we have to throw a lot of parties around the house that always have lots of music,” Kirk said.
“Everywhere we go — friends, parties, weddings — he’s always the center of attention,” the father said.
However, Jaden’s dance moves seemed to attract some negative commenters, who criticized him for being “disrespectful” for “stealing the show” from his classmates.
His family could not disagree more strongly.
“I’ve read the comments and for those who think Jaden is being selfish or disrespectful to his classmates, you don’t know Jaden,” said Jaden’s mother, Yanira Williams.
Describing her son as a “good soul,” Yanira Williams said he did not intend to be selfish or disrespectful by bursting out his dance moves during the concert
The video has garnered thousands of comments from those applauding Jaden’s moves
“He has a kind soul, full of joy and hugs all his classmates every day at school. His personality is big, which like his father is an understatement; Church! I wish you all happy holidays and lots of love!’
Jaden’s favorite team, the 49ers, seem to agree.
The San Francisco soccer team left their message of approval for the eight-year-old on the Instagram video, writing, “Ok Jaden!! We see you!’
Jaden’s family members say he wants to be a professional soccer player one day and hopes to meet his favorite 49ers: Nick Bosa and Deebo Samuel.
