Al-Nassr has reportedly booked Cristiano Ronaldo’s medical treatment as they get closer to bringing the Portuguese star to Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo ended his contract with Manchester United last month after giving Piers Morgan a sizzling interview in which he criticized the club and manager Erik ten Hag. Since then, the 37-year-old has been looking for a new team and now wants to move to the Middle East.
Al-Nassr is growing confidence that Ronaldo will join them and has planned a medical and booked accommodation for the forward and his agents, according to CBS Sports.

They are optimistic the deal will be finalized by the start of the January transfer window, having already agreed the general terms of Ronaldo’s contract.
Ronaldo is expected to make $75million a year (£62million) if he accepts Al-Nassr’s offer, while image rights and other endorsements could push that figure significantly to around £173million a year.
As well as becoming Saudi Arabian football’s biggest star on the pitch, Ronaldo will also play an important role off the pitch if he accepts Al-Nassr’s offer.
He will reportedly be given a role in team manager appointments if he so desires.
Al-Nassr is currently managed by Rudi Garcia, who previously coached Lille, Roma and Marseille during his time in Europe.
Ronaldo had a difficult end to 2022 after falling out of favor at Old Trafford before leaving the club for a second time.

The World Cup in Qatar didn’t go to plan for him either, as he scored just once from the penalty spot and was ruled out by coach Fernando Santos for Portugal’s round of 16 and quarter-finals.
Portugal lost to Morocco in the round of 16 and Ronaldo left the field in tears at what might be his last World Cup.
He then had to watch as his longtime rival Lionel Messi won the tournament with Argentina the following week.
Ronaldo has been evaluating his options before deciding on his club future while waiting to see if a European club would step up for him.
However, his chances of staying in Europe seem to have dwindled by the day and he now seems on the verge of moving to Saudi Arabia instead.
