Just 24 days after undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus, Robert Williams III was back in the Boston Celtics roster.
Playing with a minute limit, Time Lord scored 16 minutes for the Celtics in a 109-103 win that gave Boston a comfortable 3-0 lead over the Brooklyn Nets in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
Coach Ime Udoka had said ahead of the game that the target for Time Lord would be around 20 to 24 minutes, a total he missed in part thanks to a dominant performance by the Celtics in the fourth quarter.

As such, there weren’t many highlights from Williams in the game. Still, he showed flashes of the player he was for the Celtics during the regular season, and what the team hopes he’ll transform again once he’s fully unleashed in the postseason.

Time Lord did not start the game and came off the bench for the first time this season after starting 61 games in the regular season. He came into play with the Celtics late in the first quarter with a modest 26-20 lead.
Williams only had one block, but he certainly counted.
