A 22-year-old woman has died after waiting in her vehicle for more than 18 hours while stuck in a Buffalo snowstorm.

Anndel Taylor was driving home from work when she got stuck on the road. She was found dead on Saturday afternoon.
It’s not yet clear whether she died of hypothermia or carbon monoxide poisoning, but one thing is certain, her loved ones are heartbroken.
She’s not the only victim of this historic storm: 35 people died in the city of Buffalo alone.
Two other people were found dead in their vehicle, according to Monday’s report.
The authorities assume that other motorists could still be found dead. Another 12 inches of snow is expected in Buffalo.
Before her death, the young woman had sent her family a video explaining what she was going through and saying she was scared.
In the images we can see the storm accompanied by strong winds that blow very strongly.
Communication with the girl was cut off after the video was broadcast, which made her family members very concerned.
“My sister was stuck in the snow storm for two hours yesterday. She was still stuck at 11pm yesterday!!! There she is lost under the snow and no one can find her! I have this pain in my stomach…” his sister Tommie Brown wrote on Facebook during the events.
Anndel Taylor, who was born in Buffalo but grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, returned to New York State earlier this year to care for her father.
After confirming his death, his sister released a new message on Monday.
“You will always be with me. ! I will never let your memory die. I love you so much Anndel and I just want to show you that! I just want to take you home, warm you up and wake you up. ! You can wake up now, Anndel. I would never have let you go if I thought that was going to happen,” she wrote.
A crowdfunding campaign has been launched for the girl’s funeral and also for the repatriation of her body from North Carolina, where they are being celebrated.
Over $12,000 was raised in less than 24 hours.
As of Tuesday morning, 35 deaths had been recorded in Erie County, the county where Buffalo is located.
A total of around 70 people across the country died in weather-related incidents during the historic “once-in-a-lifetime” storm.
