EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy has said goodbye to co-stars Danny Dyer and Charlie Brooks following their dramatic exit from the soap opera.
Albert Square legend Mick Carter has been ‘killed’ after he ‘disappeared at sea’ in the Christmas Day special where Janine was taken to prison following the Boxing Day tragedy.
Natalie, 39, who plays Sonia Fowler on the show, gushed that she loved the couple “so much” and was sure she’d see them outside of the show’s fictional Albert Square.

The sweet snap saw the trio cuddling at a Christmas party as they beamed at the camera.
Natalie captioned the snap: “@officialdannydyer @charlie_brooks_xx the love I have for these two. destroyed it’.

Natalie also praised actors Danielle Harold and Jamie Brothwick after their characters Lola and Jay got engaged during the festival special following Lola’s terminal cancer diagnosis.
She wrote: ‘@danielle_harold and @jamie_b10 [who play Lola Pearce and Jay Brown respectively] are absolutely amazing. So proud. X’

Hours earlier, Kellie Bright also said goodbye to her on-screen ex-husband Danny, 46, in a lavish tribute after nine years of soap opera together.
With her time on the soap coming to an end, actress Kellie, 46, has paid tribute to her co-star after nine years working together.
She captioned Danny to her Instagram page for her 140,000 Instagram followers to enjoy, and shared a black and white selfie of the pair on their last day together on set.

The on-screen couple had been together since they were teens, and they joined the court in 2013 after saving enough money to buy the Queen Vic.
They finally tied the knot in 2016 — but their relationship had many hiccups down the road, eventually splitting after Linda’s cheating scandal with Max Branning.

His last relationship was with Janine Butcher, whom he eventually married on Christmas Eve, despite warnings from friends and family about her honesty.
But it all ended on Christmas Day – when Mick, Janine and Linda squared off in an explosive finale at the White Cliffs Of Dover – after learning that Janine was responsible for the car accident that Linda was responsible for in earlier episodes.

In a dramatic chase, Janine tried to escape her husband and his ex-wife as they tried to make her pay for their crimes and drove off quickly towards Dover.
But Linda wouldn’t let her get away, jumping into the passenger seat and wrestling with Janine for the wheel – resulting in them losing control of the car and throwing themselves off a cliff into the English Channel.
Behind them was Mick, who got out of his car and jumped into the water to save her after realizing what had happened.

Danny Dyer hilariously addressed the departure of his EastEnders character Mick Carter with a punchy statement while lounging on a sun-kissed beach.
The actress, whose character was “killed” after appearing to drown in the sea during Sunday’s explosive Christmas special, joked that it was a “c*** of a swim” as she shared a hilarious video with fans .
Danny relaxed on the sand while smoking shisha and sipping tequila while assuring fans he was “sweet as a freaking nut” after his exit from the soap.

He said: “It was very emotional last night. It was a very crazy episode. But don’t worry… because I fucking made it!
“It was a bit of a swim but let me tell you now it was worth it. Mick needed a break, it was time for him to continue, new chapter.
“I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my castmates, every single one of you, I love you all very much, I am very honored to have worked with you for so long and I will cherish these moments for the rest of my life.
“I won’t name names, there are too many of you, but of course my Carter family means everything to me – it’s the end of an era. I am very grateful and truly appreciate the years that I have run the Queen Vic.
“So again don’t stress and especially the fans who voted for me and invested in Mick and made him the character he is.
“But he had to go… Janine friggingly drove him insane! So, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and don’t worry about Mick… [drinks tequila and smokes] because he’s sweet as a damn nut!’
