Paulo Vieira said on Twitter on Sunday (25/12) that Globo had censored a joke he made with Cássia Kis in Melhores do Ano. The comedian’s comment about the actress, who is causing controversy behind the scenes because of her political position and homophobic remarks, came to light this Tuesday (December 27).
According to columnist Cristina Padiglione from Folha de S. Paulo, during demonstrations by supporters of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in Rio, the comedian spoke about the occasions when the actress appeared and asked for military intervention in the country.

At the best of the year, Paulo would have asked himself on stage if he wasn’t exposing himself too much in relation to his political position. He then explained that he had reconsidered his opinion when he turned on the television and saw Cássia kneel and plead for military intervention.
Paulo Vieira and Joke with Cássia Kis
Paulo Vieira had already said on his Twitter that Globo had made a joke with the actress, a declared supporter of Bolsonaro, right at the beginning of the Best of the Year.
“I missed the start. Did my cássia kissing joke get through?” the comedian asked on his Twitter. After receiving a negative, Vieira posted a sad emoji saying, “It’s happening.” The post was later deleted by Paulo Vieira.
