Occupied Kherson among the cities of the world in protest against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine

Tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of cities around the world, including in occupied Ukraine, to protest Russia’s military aggression on Saturday.

In Kherson, the first city taken by the Russians on March 2, thousands of people participated in peaceful demonstrations against the occupiers.

“Peaceful demonstrations in Smelly Kherson inspire Ukraine and the world!” tweeted Dmitry Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. “Thousands of peaceful Ukrainians are protesting against the Russian occupation in front of armed Russian soldiers. What a spirit. I call on everyone on the globe: Express your support to the fearless Ukrainians in Kherson!”
