A model felt “like a monster” after dying her hair and suffering a severe allergic reaction on her face.
Luisa Kamei, 19, from Brazil, warned her followers as a series of shocking images showed her face severely swollen.
On December 21, the influencer, who has more than 13,400 followers, warned that the 48-hour allergy tests recommended by manufacturers are not always enough to protect customers.
Luisa claims a box of hair dye, without mentioning the brand name, caused a list of symptoms after using it earlier this month.

The aspiring model’s face is said to have cracked so badly that she could no longer see in one eye.
“On December 16th I decided to dye my hair. Anyone who knows me knows I’ve been doing this for years,” she said.
“I had a disfigured face from the hair dye.
Luisa, who is an aspiring model, said she has been dying her dark hair for years with no problems. But her face swelled up so much that she felt like a monster.
Luisa said she wanted to warn others after a doctor told her the reaction could have been much worse if she hadn’t gotten to the hospital in time
Luisa woke up to find fluid oozing from her scalp and the next day her face was swollen and she could not open her right eye
“I’ve never had a reaction like that.
“Two days after dying my hair, I woke up with fluid coming out of my scalp and the next day my face was so swollen I couldn’t open one of my eyes.
“Hair dye allergies are a very serious issue for people with sensitive skin.
“Some people may lose their hair or get sores on the scalp, among other health issues.

“A more severe allergic reaction can cause swelling and redness of the face and scalp, difficulty breathing, and even a severe whole-body allergic reaction.
‘That happened to me.’
The teenager went to the doctor with great discomfort after her face continued to swell.
She claims: “If it had taken me longer to get to the hospital, according to the doctor, the allergic reaction could have been worse.

Luisa said seeing her swollen face in the mirror made her cry because she “felt like a monster.”
Now back to her glamorous best, Luisa is determined to use her experience to warn others about the potential dangers of hair dye
Luisa said she worked up the courage to show what happened so others wouldn’t have the same experience
“I looked in the mirror and all I could do was cry. I felt like a monster.”
Finally, she gave her fans a stark warning.
Luisa added: “But today I worked up the courage to show you what I look like and to highlight the problem.
“Be careful about the types of products you use.
“The 48-hour allergy test recommended by manufacturers is not always sufficient.”
