In the second game in a row, forward Bo Horvat picked up four points and the Vancouver Canucks are very happy because more performances like this could see them make a nice comeback in the standings.

British Columbia’s team climbed above the .500 mark for the first time this season with a 6-2 win over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. Although her record of 16-15-3 only puts her sixth in the Pacific Division, there is hope for her. The Canucks have won three straight games and Horvat shines brightly as he is second in the National Hockey League with 26 goals.
“It’s insane: he’s scored that amount of goals and it’s not even New Year’s Eve yet. It’s very enjoyable to watch and being able to play with him is great,” Brock Boeser, one of the pro’s line partners, told the media hockey player.
The alarm?
His confidence seems to carry over to the group as a whole, which pleases Headmaster Bruce Boudreau. “I think the team is starting to believe in themselves a little more and that’s very important,” he said.
Among the revived athletes is Boeser, who has six goals in 26 games and had one goal and two assists on Tuesday. If he continues like this, his club will improve their chances of qualifying.
“When I was at the bottom of the barrel and was about to be pulled out, I felt like I could only hit back,” he told The Province newspaper. I think it’s about regaining confidence and working hard to play properly. My priority is to help our team win.”
Boudreau is also keeping his fingers crossed that Boeser’s comeback will continue.
“Here is a good example. When ‘Boes’ hits the net he’s dangerous and he plays better when he feels like he’s contributing, he claimed. His hockey sense is good, he knows where people are on the rink. He’s part of the elite and that’s why he played for the Canucks for many years.”
To wrap up 2022, the Canucks visit the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday and the Calgary Flames on Saturday.
