So spontaneous and adorable,” explained another follower. “The action of Prince Louis rushing to give his sister the flowers says a lot about the strong love and bond they have. Love it,” added a third.
William and Kate’s youngest son lavished sympathy at other times, too. According to The Sun, some of the subjects shouted, “We love you Louis” when the boy waved back. “I spoke to dear Louis. He’s always so nice. I gave gifts to all the children and Louis said, ‘Thank you very much’ and ‘Merry Christmas,'” Gemma Clark, one of the women at the scene, told the vehicle. Other royals also took part in the walk including Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Prince Andrew, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips.

Due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla held Christmas events for the first time this year. On the eve of the bank holiday, the monarch paid tribute to his mother in a prerecorded speech from St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. “Christmas is a particularly moving time for all of us who have lost loved ones. We feel their absence at every family change of the season and remember them all in every cherished tradition,” he said.
“My mother’s belief in the power of light was an integral part of her belief in God, but also her belief in human beings, which I wholeheartedly share. It is a belief in the extraordinary capacity of every human being to touch the lives of others and brighten the world around them with kindness and compassion,” Charles concluded.
“I cannot thank you all enough for the love and sympathy you have shown to our entire family. Christmas is a particularly poignant time for all of us who have lost loved ones.’
