Where’s Kanye West?
Wild rumors are circulating that the artist, now known as Ye, is “missing” – while his ex-CEO is trying to peddle him with a $4.5million lawsuit, the US Sun reports.
Thomas St. John, who is suing unpredictable rapper Gold Digger and his company Yeezy for allegedly unpaid fees, told a court he also couldn’t find a real address for Ye.
Rumors of the 45-year-old mogul’s whereabouts spread after a tweet from Daily Loud, which wrote: “Kanye West has reportedly gone missing and could not be located [sic] according to his ex-CEO for weeks.”
On Dec. 19, St. John requested an extension until the end of March to serve the lawsuit, according to documents obtained by the news agency.
The former CEO was also reportedly unable to reach Yes’s legal team.

“We were advised on a new law firm for defendants, but not on a specific contact person,” the court filing, quoted by the US Sun, says.
“We later learned from information in the news that the law firm identified as the new attorney was not affiliated with the defendants. Accordingly, we have not been able to serve defendants through their counsel,” the document said.
“In general, we’ve had trouble confirming Kanye West’s best current address,” it said.

“Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to ascertain Mr West’s current address and have therefore not yet made any attempts to serve him personally. Instead, we tried to mentor him by mail to several possible addresses,” adds the filing, according to the outlet.
St. John tried unsuccessfully to serve the rapper at his California homes in Hidden Hills, Malibu and Calabasas, the US Sun reports, citing the documents.
“We will continue to make diligent and reasonable attempts to serve defendants,” including hiring “appropriate agencies” to track down the elusive artist.
St. John claims he was not paid for Ye’s 18-month guaranteed hours, even though he only worked three months and was supposed to be paid $300,000 for each of them, according to the report.
In January 2022, Ye reportedly became “hot-tempered and aggressive” and “yelled” at St. John and said he no longer wanted to work with him, the complaint said.
“When confronted with the 18-month commitment he had just made, Mr. West uttered words like ‘The 18-month tenure was bull—’ and ‘You’re crazy you even think I’d stick to it.’ ‘ the lawsuit claims.
Neither Kanye nor his representative have responded to the outlet’s request for comment on the legal filing.
According to the US Sun, Ye was last seen in public on December 18, when he was caught taking two of his children to church.
The rapper has been embroiled in controversy lately for unleashing a bizarre anti-Semitic tirade on social media. He also praised Adolf Hitler during a rogue performance with “Infowars” host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
“I also see good things in Hitler. Every person has a value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler,” he said.
Recent negative publicity has cost him lucrative partnerships with top brands like Adidas and Gap.
Germany-based sportswear manufacturer Adidas parted ways with Ye last month.
Gap, another corporate partner who sold Yes’s clothing line, also dumped him.
Yes’s terminated partnerships have reduced his net worth from about $2 billion to $400 million, according to Forbes.
