The actor and director Dennis CarvalhoThe 75yearold remains hospitalized at the Copa Star hospital in Rio de Janeiro when he was admitted on December 26. According to columnist Ancelmo Gois of the newspaper O Globo, the health condition is serious as Dennis suffers from septicemia, a generalized infection.

The report from the hospital only reveals that the director is actually in the medical center, but does not explain the clinical picture. “The CopaStar Hospital informs that the patient Dennis de Carvalho has been hospitalized since December 26 under the care of his residents and hospital staff,” read the official statement.
Dennis Carvalho, from São Paulo, born September 27, 1947, began his artistic career as a child. At just 11, the boy joined the cast of the TV Paulista soap opera Oliver Twist. After that he also started to voice and provided the voice of one of the most popular characters of the 1960s and 1970s, the little corporal Rusty, from the series Rim Tim Tim.
