According to Tourism Minister David Collado, 30,000 visitors came to the country only yesterday, Wednesday.
Likewise, in a meeting with the tourism cabinet to discuss the security issue, Collado indicated that reservations are at the forefront at all hotels in the country, as are airlines.
He explained that as a result of the evaluation of the meeting, there has not been any unfortunate incident involving tourists in different destinations, hotels or airports.
The minister said that the President, Luis Abinader, asked the Tourism Cabinet to meet to reinforce preventive measures in tourist centers due to the increase in end-of-year celebrations.
