Big Brother VIP
Alex reveals his failure to enter the house this year and surprises concern; then proceeds to attack Spinalbese
Released December 29, 2022
The idea of getting Alex Belli into Big Brother Vip 7 there really was. The actor himself made it known in a new interview for Casa Pipol. Here he explained that there was no real rejection on his part. He simply thought that after an intense journey during the last edition, a new experience at Casa di Cinecittà would not have been the best choice. One of the reasons is certainly the one that concerns the cast that is currently in the game. The characters in Alfonso Signorini’s reality show failed to inspire the actor.
First, Belli reiterated that he had deliberately distanced himself from the television world. However, the much-discussed former competitor wanted to make some clarifications.
“The truth is there was an idea of being able to make an entry but in the end after a great season like last year I didn’t feel like it anymore. Also because the terrain of the competitors in this house did not inspire me. Unfortunately this year there was a cast right at the start who obviously had problems, from the Bellavia case etc. A whole bunch of things that weighed on the programme. The cast has been completely overhauled, but to put it mildly, it’s not my game.”
GF Vip 7’s competitors are not the characters that Alex Belli could use to recreate a story similar to the last installment. At this point he quoted Edoardo Tavassicalled him “an actor” who started this experience “with great energy also in creating skits, content and gags” but would later die out because he could not find “fertile ground” around him.
“I know the writers try to include situations or dynamics that can work. It’s clear we’re trying to re-propose in a different key something that worked last year and that’s exactly why I wasn’t convinced. I’m not one to copy and paste. You have to come up with something new. I’ll give you an example: this year you tried again to bring free love, the triangle, but in the end the audience wasn’t interested anymore. It’s stuff we’ve seen before, gutted. The nice thing about last year is that it all happened by accident.”
Alex Belli believes he kept millions of viewers glued to the small screen to find out how the situation he starred in with Delia Duran and Soleil Sorge would have ended. It should be noted that there was also a lot of controversy and few viewers were willing to believe everything. Nevertheless, one has to say that the three of them kept their show going until the end.
“Our triangle certainly fascinated, it divided the public. It was a story that captivated the viewer because there was never a solution, there was never an ending. There was no happy ending. It was always: What will happen? We’ll see it in the next episode! It was all improvised, it was alive. And that’s exactly what held the viewer in.”
GF Vip 7, Alex Belli talks about Antonino and Soleil Sorge
Alex Belli shared his thoughts on Antonino Spinalbese. “Antonino is a very good boy, women like him, he can dribble very well,” he said. But there’s one detail that, according to the actor, wouldn’t work: Belen Rodriguez’s ex-boyfriend wouldn’t be able to “captivate with a story.” On this point, he explained his point of view:
“He doesn’t have time to start one when he’s already finished and then the next one will come soon. Then the audience says: so what?”
Finally, Belli couldn’t help but comment on the presence of Soleil Sorge instead of Sonia Bruganelli, absent only for two episodes. Well, after several rants shared on social media, Alex agreed that the former Gieffina was “perfect for the commentator role.” For the actor, “that’s his role.” Today he has nothing to clarify with Soleil. “He wrote the bitch’s handbook and therefore has to preserve the character of the bitch,” said the ex-Vippone.
