On social media, Paulo Vieira shared prints with photos, texts and names of people who insulted him with racist language and even wished he “die like Marielle Franco” a Rio de Janeiro councilwoman who was murdered in 2018.

“There are hundreds of comments like this. Aside from calling me, my team, my family?” wrote Paulo Vieira, along with the shared prints.

Faced with messages of affection and support from fans, Paulo took the opportunity to reassure them, saying he knew he was “increasingly right in his role as a comedian.”
