Hayley Williams sings “Misery Business” for the first time since 2018.

Paramore’s Hayley Williams recently sang “Misery Business” for the first time since 2018. Watch a video of the performance below.

It should also be noted that Williams rocked her signature fiery hair color from the riot! Epoch. We will never recover from this.

After Eilish introduced her, Williams said, “This is my first Coachella. Whoa! Thanks for sharing this with me – this is sick!” Later in the set, Williams returned to perform Eillish’s “Happier Than Ever” with the singer.

Williams previously withdrew “Misery Business” from Paramore’s live sets in 2018 amid an ongoing debate over whether its message was “anti-feminist.” Back in 2020, Williams also drew attention to the single’s inclusion in Spotify’s Women Of Rock playlist. Her solo track “Simmer” was also included.

‘SIMMER’ is on this playlist. thx Spotify,” Williams wrote on Instagram Stories. “But that’s misery business. I know it’s one of the band’s greatest songs, but it shouldn’t be used to promote anything related to female empowerment or solidarity.”

The track has since been removed from the playlist.

The performance follows Williams’ throwback photo of Paramore, which she posted to Instagram on April 4. The picture didn’t include a caption or other information, but it’s the singer’s first post on the photo-sharing network since she announced she was quitting social media six months earlier.

What could it mean? It could portend something new from Paramore soon, as Williams last year teased the band’s return in 2022. Only time can tell.

10 artists with the most iconic hairstyles in rock + metal

It’s always been great to see how trendy haircuts are connected to music. You can tell a lot about a band by their hair. Whether gothic, rock, metal, punk, etc., the hairstyle plays a crucial role in the image of a band. Believe me, a licensed pro in a metal band who takes great care of his hair.

Let’s jump to my top 10 most iconic hairstyles in rock and metal.
