A$AP Rocky, officially known as Rakim Mayers, made his first public appearance since his arrest on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old rapper and his girlfriend Rihanna reappeared Saturday night to have dinner at Georgio Baldi’s in Santa Monica.
According to TMZ, the outing was a baby shower packed with family and friends ahead of the birth of their first child.

Rocky was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport, Fox News Digital confirmed. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Rocky was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon stemming from a November 2021 shooting.

On November 6, Rocky and an acquaintance got into a fight in the Hollywood area. The argument escalated, and according to the police, the rapper fired a pistol at the acquaintance, who suffered minor injuries.
A$AP Rocky had arrived in LAX on a private plane with Rihanna as the two were returning from a holiday in Barbados.
According to TMZ, the rapper posted $550,000 bail Wednesday afternoon and walked straight from the police station into a black SUV hours after his initial arrest.

A$AP Rocky officials did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.
This isn’t the first time Rocky has clashed with law enforcement. He was arrested and imprisoned in Sweden. Rocky was charged with assault and found guilty.

Rocky and his two bodyguards, who then spent nearly a month behind bars, were given “conditional sentences” on the assault convictions. As long as they don’t commit a similar offense in Sweden, the group will avoid jail time.
In January, the singer proudly showed off her bare baby bump during an outing with Rocky. The couple went for a walk in Harlem, his hometown. As the lovebirds held hands, a paparazzi managed to snap photos that were made available to People magazine.

The beauty mogul, 34, graced the cover of Vogue’s May 2022 issue wearing a red lace high-heeled Alaïa catsuit with matching gloves.
In her interview with the outlet, Rihanna opened up about her maternity fashion and how her influence will be seen when she dresses her child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I was like, ‘No way am I going to go shopping in a pregnancy aisle,'” Rihanna said. “I’m sorry – it’s too much fun to get dressed. I’m not going to let that part go away because my body is changing.”

Rihanna went on to discuss how she feels women shouldn’t “hide” their pregnancy.
“I hope we’ve redefined what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women,” she began. “My body is doing incredible things right now and I will not be ashamed of that. This time it should feel celebratory. Because why would you hide your pregnancy?”

The couple have been friends for years but went public with their relationship in 2020.
Rocky told GQ’s June/July 2021 issue that the makeup mogul was “the one.”
“The love of my life,” he gushed at the time. “My lady.”
