Big plans: And while Amanda has been relaxing in style at the gorgeous resort, the TV personality is planning a makeover of her home with husband Chris
Amanda told The Mirror: “I want my husband to see me doing it because he wouldn’t trust me to do half of it at home. It was rare that I was allowed to tile something.
“I want him to keep me physically stuck more. It was far more satisfying to know that we made it and that there are walls that we made – and they’re not wobbly or falling down.
“We did tile work…we made lights, we made the whole kitchen out of lightweight blocks.”
The TV personality told her husband earlier this year that she wanted to move out of their lavish Surrey mansion, which they bought in 2015.
The mum-of-two said she was bored with the £5million home on the market because it’s too perfect and there’s nothing left to improve on.
She gave the luxurious property a showbiz makeover and is hoping to make a £1.5million profit after pouring £3.5million into the five-bedroom home seven years ago.
