Former BBB and digital influencer Maíra Cardi, 39, used the endoftheyear atmosphere to reflect with her followers on how her 2022 was, revealing that in addition to splitting with actor Arthur Aguiar, she’s also lost a baby and is dealing with depression fought.
In a post on Instagram, the artist shared a video with a throwback to photos from her 2022, explaining that she had thrown herself headlong into all of the year’s challenges and opening up about the loss of her son — not mentioning if the child was Arthur would be Aguiars.

“I’ve had my daughter in intensive care and hospital a few times, I cried a lot, I was disappointed, I got emotional and I learned to be grateful! I lost a son that virtually nobody knew about, I’ve been in and out of a severe depression that nearly killed me. Another, almost no one knew I was there!”
The former BBB 9 (TV Globo) contestant also celebrated having managed to donate around R$1 million without revealing who the amount was going to.
“I’ve met people, I’ve lost people, I’ve been disappointed by people I never thought would be disappointed and I’ve been surprised by those I least expected. I’ve traveled a lot, worked a lot, I’ve made mistakes and I’ve been right… I’ve had the privilege of giving my first million, one of the most beautiful things God has given me!”
She ended her reflection by being grateful for the experiences she’s had in 2022, stating that she’s ready to embark on the “unlikeliest dreams” the new year can offer her.
What more do I want from 2022? Thank you from the bottom of my heart for 2022 because it was everything I needed to get to where I always dreamed! Anything that remains is with much love and gratitude as it is part of my story forever. Let 2023 come, I’m ready to finally be happy and live all my most unlikely dreams. Christmas with the ex
The digital influencer posed for Christmas photos with her family and revealed that her exhusband, actor Arthur Aguiar, was over for dinner at their home in central São Paulo.
However, the record brought her criticism for dating her exhusband. “If you broke up with him for the tenth time, don’t post a picture with him, right baby. Then no one comments,” one wrote, defending the comments questioning the artist’s presence at the party.
But amid the negative comments surrounding the photos, there were also fans who spoke out in favor of the reconciliation or praising the former couple’s partnership in raising their daughter Sophia, 3.
“Guys, I’m not defending myself or anything, but have you ever considered that maybe Arthur’s just there for her daughter?” one of them provoked.
Maíra didn’t directly address the controversy, but wrote a text in her Stories shortly after the post, praising “respect” and harmony between the people in her family.
“I thank God that I have such a blessed family, even after so much pain and setbacks in life. In the photo is my mother, my grandmother, my father’s mother, my mother’s exmotherinlaw. There is Sophia’s father, my children, my aunt and my cousin. My three amazing friends and coworkers at my house who decided to spend the night with me. God, thank you for showing us what true respect and true love is. Beyond all prejudices, superficiality, may love be,” wrote the coach.
She and Arthur announced their split on October 6. They married in 2017 and have accumulated back and forth over the five years of their relationship.
