Roxy Jacenko combats online backlash after daughter Pixie, 11, poses with bottle of champagne on New Year’s Eve: ‘Not a good look’
Roxy Jacenko was targeted by haters online after she posted a photo of her 11-year-old daughter Pixie posing with an expensive bottle of champagne.
The PR guru, 42, shared a gallery of images to Instagram on Sunday capturing her celebrating New Year’s Eve with her kids and friends.
One photo showed the young pixie beaming at the camera while holding an unopened bottle of Ruinart champagne in one hand and what appeared to be a cooler of food in the other.

It wasn’t long before trolls slammed Roxy for sharing the snap of her teenage daughter holding the $130 bottle of bubbles.
“Jesus Roxy, you demand it. Not a good look for your daughter,” wrote one angry follower.
Another fan begged Pixie to ditch the Ruinart immediately and find an age-appropriate drink.

However, other fans were quick to jump to Roxy’s defense, pointing out that Pixie was simply helping her mom carry the bottle instead of drinking from it.
It comes after Roxy was criticized for her daughter Pixie’s extravagant Christmas wish list.
Roxy made headlines in November after uploading a photo of Pixie’s handwritten list, which included a $9,000 handbag and designer clothes.

While some followers found the post amusing, others accused Roxy of “spoiling” her daughter with material goods instead of teaching her to be humble.
“Maybe instead of being a spoiled child, you would like to put her and yourself in a homeless shelter and show her what humility means!” A user commented.
“How to raise a materialistic child – just follow Roxy for tips. Amazing that this kid knows all these brands but can’t spell CHRISTMAS yet,” wrote another reviewer.
Roxy clapped back at the backlash, telling Chron Australia: “There will always be someone who has an opinion, not knowing what we are donating and making financially to different communities and charities.”
