Billie Eilish was head over heels during her performance at Coachella on Saturday night.

The 20-year-old pop star fell while headlining Coachella’s second weekend. As Eilish prepared to perform her hit “Getting Older,” she fell square on her face.

“I just ate s–t,” screamed Billie, documented by videos on social media. “Ouch! Guys, I just had a– up here.”

Eilish wasn’t injured during her fall, citing that she “tripped on the damn fire thing.”

After her performance, the star shared with the crowd what happened. “It was pitch black,” she said in the video. “See this square? This damn thing?

The crowd immediately rushed to Eilish’s defense and yelled “Fk the square” at the singer. Turning the chant into a joke, Eilish repeated the phrase and laughed on stage.

After performing “Your Power” with her brother Finneas O’Connell, Eilish joked with her fans about who the now empty seat next to her was for.

“Oh look! An empty seat. Who is that for?” Eilish asked the audience. She then introduced her guest performer, Paramore’s lead singer Hayley Williams.

“This is my first Coachella, whoa,” Williams said as the duo sat down. “Thank you for sharing this with me. That is sick!”

The two performed a duet on Paramore’s hit “Misery Business.” After the performance, Eilish called out to the crowd, “Oh my goddamn it,” she said as Williams left the stage. “Absolutely, what on earth could be cooler than that? I’m dead serious.”

Williams wasn’t done with her Coachella debut when she later returned to the stage on Eilish’s set to perform “Happier Than Ever” alongside her.

Friday night’s headliner was Harry Styles and on the second weekend the singer brought out Lizzo as his surprise guest. Sunday night’s main performance will be Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd, who replaced Kanye West after he retired from the festival earlier this month.

The Swedish House Mafia were already listed as performers before the line-up change, but it wasn’t immediately clear when they would be performing. Now they’re at the top of the Sunday night schedule along with The Weeknd.

West and Eilish have had their own share of disagreements in recent months.

The feud began when Eilish pulled out of a concert in February when she saw a fan in the audience who needed medical attention.

“We take care of our people,” the singer said in one Video shared by a concert-goer at the Atlanta show. “I’m waiting for people to be okay before I move on.”

West, 44, took it upon himself to reach out to Eilish on Instagram to tell her that she owed Travis Scott an apology. While Eilish didn’t mention the Astroworld rapper, West seemed to think she was helping a fan in need was an insult to his estranged wife’s little sister’s boyfriend.

“Come on Billie, we love you. Please apologize to Trav and the families of the people who lost their lives. Nobody intended it,” the Donda rapper wrote on his Instagram page. “Trav had no idea what was happening when he got on stage and was very hurt by what happened and yes Trav will be with me at Coachella but now Billie has to apologize before I perform.”

Eilish replied to West in the comments section of his post: “I literally never said anything about Travis. He only helped one fan.”

Following the Astroworld tragedy, Travis Scott was dropped from the 2022 Coachella lineup in December. Per TMZ, Scott was still in the desert for the first Coachella weekend, performing at a nearby after-party.
