January 2023.- This January 1st, Cubans celebrate 64 years of triumph of the revolution, they carry a suitcase full of dreams, hopes and motivations after saying goodbye to 2022, a difficult five-year period for all areas, but where did you know how to resist creatively, as convened by the country’s highest leadership.
It’s time to put heart and soul into 2023 with the premise of uniting and winning. It will not be a simple calendar at all, but the desire for a better country, where everyone contributes to the development of the nation, where they are better people, which means cultivating, defending and nourishing the Cuban soul in all its fullness, what he needs very much, he has to be present every day.
There is still work to be done: change mentalities that are holding back the nation’s progress, and take initiatives that favor working people, not those who create dissatisfaction with their actions, continue to form civic and revolutionary values from home, with deeds and not words demonstrate that this independent Cuba was created, as José Martí, the national hero, said, with everyone and for the good of everyone.
Here in the Sierra de Cubitas, as in all of Cuba, it will be the year of the realization of the long-awaited municipal autonomy, the increase in food production through the strengthening of the production pole, the improvement of the various services offered and the improvement of the housing fund through the construction of new ones Houses.
So let’s celebrate a new anniversary of the revolution with the certainty that only with unity can a better country be built.
