Hundreds of rescuers are trying to save a 10-year-old boy who fell into a 35-metre hole at a construction site in southern Vietnam two days ago. It is about a boy of Thai nationality, Ly Hao Nam, who, looking for scrap metal, fell into a hollow concrete pillar just 25 centimeters wide to build a new bridge. “We can’t say what condition the boy is in yet,” rescuers say. The child stopped interacting with the outside world, despite the fact that oxygen was always pumped into the hole,” local media reports. Rescuers attempt to drill and soak the surrounding soil to lift the pillar and pull the baby out.
