Celine Dion was excluded from Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the greatest singers of all time

The ranking of the greatest singers of all time by the magazine “Rolling Stone” has been captivating Internet users since Sunday.

Main point of dissatisfaction: the forgetting of Quebecer Céline Dion, who is not among the 200 classified artists.

“As a former Rolling Stone subscriber, I am SHOCKED that the queen of music, Celine Dion, whose voice has been known for decades! A showman and a real star who doesn’t even make the list. Cancel all of this on me!” wrote one surfer on Twitter.

Celine Dion is not on Rolling Stone’s list of the greatest singers of all time. But Taylor Swift yes,” criticized another.

The “Rolling Stone” specifies in its article that it concerns the “ranking of the greatest singers” and not the “greatest voices”.

“The talent is impressive. Genius is transcendent,” writes the American magazine.

“Issue 112 reads, ‘Ozzy Osbourne didn’t have what people call a great voice. But he certainly is.’”

Among the other singers and singers forgotten in the ranking we can mention Madonna, Tony Bennett, Dionne Warwick, Nat King Cole or Jennifer Hudson.
