Sister Wives stars Meri and Kody Brown share more about their split.
The two, who have been plural for more than 30 years, revealed more about the end of their relationship in the interview special “Sister Wives: One on One” on Sunday.
“We have a lot of history and I love him,” Meri Brown told host Sukanya Krishnan. “He has decided that he doesn’t love me and doesn’t want a relationship with me and so far considers himself not married to me. I think that’s what we’re sitting on.”
Meri was shown a clip of Kody saying, “I don’t consider myself married to Meri. If she wanted to move on and marry someone else, she wouldn’t have a fight with me.”
He added that the two have been married since they were young and that their relationship has been challenging.
“I married Meri and it was a tough relationship from the start,” he said.
Janelle Brown and Christine Brown have also split from Kody Brown. Robyn Brown and Kody remain married.
When Meri is asked in the special, “Where is this taking you? Are you still married to Kody? Or can you make up your mind?” She replied, “Well, he’s already made the decision. You just saw him say that.”
Adding that despite everything, Meri is still open to making things work, saying: “I would. I definitely would. But I don’t think he’s interested.”
