Actor Jeremy Renner seriously injured while clearing snow

The 52-year-old actor was rescued from a traumatic injury on Sunday morning and flown to a hospital, local sheriff’s departments said in a statement.

We can confirm that Jeremy is in critical but stable condition following a weather-related accident while plowing snow, one of his agents was quoted as saying by media on Sunday.

His family is with him and he is being very well taken care of, he added.

The actor was driving a snow groomer to clear the access road to his home in the mountains between California and Nevada when the machine rolled over one of his legs, according to eyewitness testimony, according to specialist publication TMZ.

Previous postings on his social networks showed him handling this imposing device, comparable to those used by ski resorts to prepare slopes.

The region has been hit by heavy snowfalls in recent weeks.
