He is a pop singer with concerts all over the world, she is a model and actress – and together they are raising four children.
But Ayda Field said she doubts her husband Robbie Williams feels as “selfish” as she does about prioritizing her career.
Field, 43, said working moms and dads aren’t treated equally and claimed the pop star is never asked if he feels “guilty” about abandoning his kids for work commitments.

Speaking on her podcast, Postcards From The Edge, she said: “It’s interesting, it’s the same voice going on in my head — you used the word ‘selfish’ that mom has to be ‘selfish’ to do her job take care of.
“It’s interesting that I see Rob going off to do his job and I don’t think he ever sees that as selfish.
“And as women, it’s interesting – and I don’t know if that’s because of what we inherited culturally from our mothers and their mothers and society and what’s expected of us – how we feel guilty about pursuing something that belongs to us .

“Or it feels like it’s at the behest of our kids or that wanting those things is wrong because it’s selfish — that judgment we use.”
“It’s that thing where you judge yourself and find yourself selfish at times, and that voice that you have to fight. Whereas I look at Rob and I picture a lot of men and they don’t think it’s selfish.

The model and actress said she doesn’t think Williams was ever asked if he felt “guilty” about leaving his kids to work.
She added, “I’ve been to his job interviews and I’ve never heard anyone say, ‘Do you feel guilty about being away from the kids?’ Or ‘Who’s watching the kids while you’re away?'”
