A 22-year-old pilot suffered an engine failure in the Italian Alps.

On Wednesday, December 28, a 22-year-old Italian woman made an emergency landing of the small tourist plane she was on with her brother and his girlfriend at an altitude of 2100 meters in the Italian Dolomites. , reports the Corriere della Serra.
The pilot took off from Trento in the north-east of the country and was flying in the direction of Belluno, a little further east. The young woman, who would like to become an airline pilot, was used to this journey. But while she was flying over a peak, the plane’s engine suddenly stopped. Then the young Italian straightened the stick to adapt to the slope of the mountain and landed the plane on the powdery snow in the municipality of Predazzo.

Struck by broken glass and abrasions to his head and face, the pilot lost consciousness on landing, while the two conscious passengers were able to call for help. Fortunately, the landing site was near a shelter. The three survivors were transported by helicopter to Santa Chiara Hospital.
