“White Powder Bear”
In 1985, a US black bear ingested 40kg of cocaine and was found dead. This story, which took place in the state of Georgia, inspired the comedy film directed by Elizabeth Banks. However, in the work, after taking the drug, the animal goes on a rampant killing spree. Premieres March 9th.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’
The film concludes James Gunn’s trilogy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reunites the intrepid band of space heroes for one final mission featuring a new Gamora (Zoë Saldaña) and the longawaited introduction of Adam Warlock (Will Poulter). Premieres May 5th.
‘Killer of the Flower Moon’
Martin Scorsese brings together Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, John Lightow, Jesse Plemons and a great cast for the story based on the nonfiction book of the same name published in 2017. The Western takes place in the 1920s serial murder of members of the oillinked Osage Nation in what has become known as the “Reign of Terror.” Premiered in May on Apple TV+.
‘The little mermaid’
The live action of Disney’s classic children’s animation stars singer and actress Halle Bailey, and also stars Melissa McCarthy, Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs and LinManuel Miranda. The film promises a lot of singing and emotions and opens on May 26th.
“SpiderMan: Through the SpiderVerse”
In the sequel to the popular SpiderMan: Into the SpiderVerse, Miles Morales embarks on an allnew adventure alongside Gwen Stacy and a new team that includes Jessica Drew (Issa Rae) and SpiderMan 2099 Adventures in the Multiverse (Oscar Isaak). . Premieres June 1st.
“Indiana Jones and the Call of Fate”
Harrison Ford returns as Indiana Jones for a fifth adventure alongside Phoebe WallerBridge, Mads Mikkelsen and Boyd Holbrook. Premieres June 30th.
‘Barbie’
The plot is shrouded in mystery and little is actually known about the history of the curious liveaction ‘Barbie’, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. It is speculated that the film will take place in the “World of Barbie” and that something will bring the character into the real world. Premiering on July 20th.
“Oppenheimer”
Christopher Nolan’s new project tells the story of scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his role in the Manhattan Project that led to the creation of the atomic bomb. Premiering on July 20th.
‘Dune: Part 2’
Denis Villeneuve completes his ambitious adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel. Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) joins Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen on a quest for revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family and must choose between love and the fate of the universe. Premieres on November 2nd.
‘wonka’
Timothée Chalamet’s double at the end of the year is guaranteed because the star is also the protagonist of the film, which will tell the story of young Willy Wonka, the eccentric owner of the Fantastic Chocolate Factory, from the Roald Dahl story. The film tells how Wonka met the OompaLoompas and began his adventures. Premieres on 14.12.
