However, in June, after months of rumors about the state of their marriage, Amanda and Clive released a joint statement saying they had “made the difficult decision to separate.”
Amanda met her husband in 1995, when he was already divorced and had two children, after she came to his farm as a 21-year-old shepherdess-in-training.
It didn’t take long for the couple to attach themselves, and their nine children quickly followed.
The public quickly fell in love with the pair and their unlikely love story, dubbing them the “Kardashians of the Countryside” with their hit show Our Yorkshire Farm.

The shepherdess began making solo appearances on a variety of television shows, becoming a regular guest on shows such as Lorraine and This Morning to provide commentary on parenting and life on the farm.
In November last year, neighbors told Web that she and Clive had been living apart for months after she was “in the spotlight” on her Channel 5 programme.
Amanda moved into her rental property down the road from Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale, where Clive lived in the farmhouse, villagers said.
It was understood that Clive was “desperate” to repair their relationship and “feared” their marriage would end in divorce.
Last month his new show Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben and Clive premiered and saw him start a digging business with his son.
Meanwhile, Amanda also has exciting prospects on the horizon, as factual boss Daniel Pearl told The Mirror: “The Owens have become everyone’s favorite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life. It’s fantastic that we can all now follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure.
“We remain absolutely committed to the entire wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon.”
